My prediction - the democrats will make a brouhaha and talk about the rights of innocent people, but in the end they will do what has become a democratic custom: nothing. They will make no effort to actually protect those rights.
They will stand aside and the FBI will gain the freedom to trample on the rights of individuals in the name of "national security".
The FBI did so before. At that time the bogeyman was "communism" and now it's called "terrorism".
